Node: External Scene

From Waltz
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The External Scene node lets you provide your own HTML webpage to be hosted by Waltz and integrate with nodes in your show. Only standard client-side technologies are available to a webpage hosted as an external scene like HTML/CSS/JavaScript, no server-side technologies like PHP/Java are supported.

To learn more about how to build an external scene that integrates with Waltz, see Trail: Creating External Scenes by Hand.

Materials and values may not update at the show's target frame rate when viewed in a Scene in order to preserve network bandwidth. This only effects Scenes containing Materials and/or values, and will not effect the Material and/or value being used elsewhere, like with an NDI™ Output Node.
